Our life is full of many colors, including black, gray and white, or the colors of the rainbow. Most of the people may think:“Colors are just colors, nothing special and they don't have definitions within themselves.”But, how do you know? I think that even a color has its own meaning, such as why we use the red envelopes in Chinese New Year. It's because red means full of joy!

　　When I feel bored at home, I usually sit on the chair in the balcony and look at the sky. The colorful clouds always change very soon. Sometimes it looks like a car, a monkey, or cotton candy, and sometimes it looks like a stream, which often appears in the evenings in summer. It seems to have lots of fish swimming happily in it. And that makes me feel happy, too. When the dim light of night spreads gradually, it's the most beautiful view at the time. The sky is just like a canvas where nature puts on the most perfect colors at the right time. That makes me fall into the fairyland of the sky. I usually try to capture the dreamy view at the moment with my camera to record my mood at the time. At night, the stars shine brightly, not only in white light but also blue, red, or even yellow light. If we watch the sky more carefully, we could see more colors than we normally see. Stars always send out a diamond-like light. It's the most precious wealth sent to the earth.

　　Artists always draw their pictures with unique colors especially belonging to them. By looking at the colors, we can know many hidden messages inside and we can also know the emotion at the time of the artist. It's good for us. This helps us to get more information and leads us into the dreamy world of colors.

　　The colors in our life are always changing, just like our moods. Sometimes red tells us to be happy and it seems to give us more energy and more zeal. But red doesn't always have a great definition. For instance, when we get hurt, we'll see blood coming out from the skin. Besides, pink will let us feel joyful and look cute. Almost every girl likes this color best, except me. Since I think pink is too feminine for me, I don't like pink so much. The brightest color is yellow. Yellow always gives us energy like the sun. Green makes us feel relaxed and fresh. Green plants can turn the polluted air into fresh air for us and also reduce mudslides. But green is also scary when the ghost appears with a green light. Blue is the coldest color to me, but it gladdens the heart and refreshes the mind.

　　How about the color purple? Purple is a smart color. The emperors over the years like purple the most, because it resembles wisdom. My favorite color is purple. I think it is a strong color and always different from the other colors. Also the purple crystal means intelligence and bravery.

　　In art, we sort colors into three groups. The colors which make us feel warm or happy and energetic are called“Warm Colors,”such as red, orange, and yellow. Another group gives opposite feelings including blue and purple named“Cold Colors.”The colors that are neither Warm Colors or Cold Colors are the other group. These are colors such as black or gray and white. I think the group to which gray belongs is the most interesting group because they are colorful but ordinary.

　　Even people who can't see colors use their mind to realize them. They're able to know the colors that belong to themselves and understand the beauty of colors.
